Matt and his crew are such a pleasure to work with. We live on three flat, forested acres purchased in 2019, and they’ve been an integral part of our stewardship of it over the last 6 years. We’ve had YFR up many times. We interviewed lots of arborists/tree services, and his vibe and approach immediately resonated with ours — they were clearly the best choice for us. Their initial help to clear and masticate decades of overgrowth on the entire property really opened up our little forest. We could not have made a better choice than YFR Tree & Land Management for clearing our property of a Scotch Broom infestation and some dead-and-down large woody debris which represented a major fire hazard. Matt & Jen are both very knowledgeable and professional. A very reasonable estimate was given following initial telephone conversations and a site visit. Matt's completion of the work project resulted in a very clean forested landscape. We are very satisfied with the entire experience of service by Matt & Jenn at YFR Tree & Land Management. We will not hesitate to contact them for any future landscape clearing needs.
YFR is an incredible team to work with. Matt masticated some of our land for fire safety and forest health and are so impressed by the care he took and the artistry he used while working on this project. I've had other people work on this land and they pretty much clear cut the area. Matt worked with us in collaboration and paid attention to the native plants we wanted to save. Jenn is responsive and professional in managing the project's completion. I can't recommend YFR enough.
The YFR crew did a wonderful job and I’m really happy with the results! It took two days to get through all the work that needed to be done and everyone was kind and professional throughout. While they were cutting down about a quarter acre of blackberry brambles they found a bird nest with eggs in it and left that little patch with the nest alone. It’s such a small act of compassion but it helps to restore a little bit of my faith in humanity.
Matt and his team did such a great job taking several dead trees down and off of our property. Super knowledgable and the nicest guys. we'll definitely be using them again. Highly recommended!
