After a heavy snow day, I had trees and limbs down. I called Eastside and Amanda was quick to respond to my inquiry and schedule the service call. The on-site crew- Brian, Donnie and Tyler-were great. They were on time, kept me continually informed of their process, made suggestions and improvements to prevent future damage, answered any questions I had and were always polite. Cleanup was really good as well. This was my first experience with a tree service and would hire them again if needed.

I’ve used many arborist services before but none like this experience!
Amanda in the office starts everything with excellent communication of plans, after Dan the arborist walked through our plans and his observations. Then the team leader emailed to share start date before the team lead by Brian arrived and professionally completed the work and a thorough cleanup after. Not easy given the trees size and surrounding landscape and structures. Excellent equipment and skills ensured no damage and left the site clean. And they bill only after all work completed and a post project approval from the owners. Call ETW and you won’t have any regrets!

One of our hemlocks failed during a Northwest weather event and landed precariously balanced across another tree with the top portion clipping the corner of the neighbor's shop. It sat that way for over a year. When I attended the 2026 Seattle Garden Show, Eastside Tree Works was there and I signed up for a free estimate for tree removal. I received a call to schedule and a day was set for Arborist Jeff to come take a look. He explained the process for removal and what was needed for not only the dangerous balancing tree, but another large dead hemlock and a large leaf maple with dead limbs needing a canopy clean out for safety.
On the scheduled day, Chad and his crew arrived on time and after confirming the targets, got to work. They worked safely and efficiently. Chad was available to address any concerns and/or questions I had, no matter how silly. He and the entire crew were respectful and left the area in better shape than they found it. All debris, branches and limbs were chipped and hauled away, leaving the cut rounds as agreed.
The dangerous balancing tree was safely taken care of and once finished, we noticed a branch had fallen perfectly balanced on the top of the broken trunk. We decided to leave it just for fun!
My experience with ETW was top tier and will be using them for future projects. Obviously, I highly recommend them.

I have used Eastside Tree Works several years ago on my rural property near Carnation, WA. They did a great job then, so I asked them to trim large trees around my townhouse in Redmond, WA.
Everything went perfectly. They knew which trees to trim, thanks to Matt doing his survey video a few days before the crew arrived. Sam, the foreman of our crew, did a second walk-through with me and my wife to make sure they knew what we wanted.
The crew operated very carefully in bringing down several large maple limbs by lowering them with ropes so they wouldn't destroy flowers or decks. The crew worked in both front and back yards and impressed neighbors with their skills. The limbs went in the chipper and then the crew cleaned up our yards and blew off the sawdust. These guys are professionals and know how to trim and cut trees....of any size. And, they didn't damage my roses or crush my blooming daffodils!
I plan to have them do more work out on my hill property near Carnation this summer. I recommend this service highly to city homeowners who need to open up the canopy to the Sun around their homes!

I highly recommend Eastside Tree Works. I hired them to take down a tree after seeing the great job they did at a neighbor’s house. Their bid was very competitive, and they were patient while I worked through the permitting process, which took a while due to my own procrastination.
They completed the job today, and I was extremely impressed with the crew, especially Sam, who appeared to be the foreman. It was a complicated job with difficult access. They had to carefully lower large sections of the tree without damaging my deck, which they handled flawlessly.
Everyone was polite, listened to my concerns, and did excellent work. The area where they worked actually looks better than it did before they started. I have hired many tree services in my line of work, and Eastside Tree Works is by far the best I have encountered.
