We had solicited about 10 bids for trimming a large Douglas fir tree and pruning a dead madrone tree down to a habitat pole. At first it was very discouraging because the companies that came out for the bids were either unresponsive, inattentive to our needs, significantly overpriced, or did not have a certified arborist available to evaluate the job. We were quite relieved when we found Archon Tree Services. The initial evaluation and bid was done by one of their certified arborists, Brent. Our tree job was challenging because the dead madrone is in a tight space inaccessible to a standard bucket truck. Archon was able to provide a spider lift which easily traversed the tight side yard and was able to access the upper limbs of the dead madrone. Other tree services either didn't have spider lifts, or they had them but they were in for repairs, or they charged ridiculous prices for the use of these spider lifts. Archon also provided a tree pruner who easily climbed the Douglas fir and pruned it to our satisfaction. Lastly, Brent suggested a growth regulator treatment for the Douglas fir tree to improve its fine root development, reduce its drought stress and to reduce its long branch/shoot growth towards the house. I researched this horticultural treatment and found good scientific evidence that it can produce the aforementioned beneficial effects. This was the only tree service that suggested this treatment and it shows that they have a holistic arborist approach to tree management. We thought this was a great idea as we wanted the trimmed Douglas fir to remain healthy and strong but without having excessively long branches extending over the house which would be at risk for breaking off during a wind storm. In summary, Archon Tree Services provides reasonably priced services with customer needs in mind while seeking a holistic arborist approach to tree management. We recommend Archon Tree Services without reservation and suggest you include them in your search for tree services bids!

Very pleased with the team that removed my six dead fir trees and a row of unwanted saplings. They were skilled and very careful. This was my second time using Archon and I will use them again. Their cost was reasonable for the work that was done.

Archon’s guys are GREAT!! From start to finish were Very thorough, respectful, careful and took down our 2 hazardous huge old trees-a big maple & a Douglas fir needing a crane for one! Shout out to Brent, Nick, Justin, Logan & ?Jeff -also Jennifer in the office who expedited the arduous tree permit situation as well. Everything & Everyone kept safe & sound
Clean up was exceptional
And our neighbors enjoyed the “show” here taking photos & video of the Operation!! LOL!
Will definitely use them again

Extremely happy with the work Archon did! A crew of 3 spent 2 days at our house and they did such a great job removing 2 trees and a row of hedges, and crowning many other trees. They showed up on time and totally cleaned up afterwards each day. They were very respectful dealing with members of our gated community who were not happy they had to close the street for a couple hours. I feel they went above and beyond in the work they did and I would very highly recommend them to anyone. They will be our first call the next time we need tree work done.

The guys had to come in and remove eight trees, but I wanted some of them standing for habitat And because of the steep slope I have. So they left them about 4 to 5 feet tall, which was perfect. It was on a very precarious slope. They were able to work around the slope, tight areas, homes nearby and power lines. Of course the powerlines were turned off. They did a fabulous job. I could not believe how efficient they are and how well they did. I will always use them for all my tree removal. They were very quiet and organized when I’d go down to look and check to see how they were doing. You could hardly tell they were there very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. All of them did a wonderful job. I’m so glad I called Archon they did an excellent job.
