CC Tree Design was founded by Christopher Campbell who has specialized in urban tree care and management for over 25 years. We're experts at getting trees to thrive in their urban surroundings, ranging from 5-foot Japanese maples to 100-foot Cypress trees, whether residential or commercial. We understand both the art of making a tree work with its microenvironment and the science behind proper tree support and care. We perform high quality tree service in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Mateo County and Santa Clara County. Services: pruning, tree selection, planting and tree preservation, tree removal, stump grinding, diagnosis, risk assessment, root crown excavations and consultations including arborist reports and tree protection plans.
CC Tree Design is a pleasure to work with from the initial contact to the completion payment. Their responsiveness is prompt and follow up and scheduling is handled efficiently by “Sam.” My husband and I were pleased with the pruning by Mario and Chris. They listened carefully to our requests and offered helpful suggestions for shaping specific trees according to their intrinsic nature. Our trees in the front of our home and the bushes and trees in back were pruned with a clear picture of intent for the overall landscape, as well. We appreciated their expertise and thoughtfulness and how well they cleaned up the whole environment when they finished the job, too! We highly recommend this tree service.
We wanted to share our excellent experience with Christopher Campbell and his CC Tree Design team after they pruned the large, mature Monterey Cypress in our front yard. Our tree is very old and sits on a slope. In addition, the sewer line runs down the slope right by the tree. The team handled these challenges with impressive skill and attention to detail. They were also mindful of the nearby electrical lines and managed the work in a way that really helped us. We wanted to avoid PG&E stepping in and potentially over-trimming and damaging our tree. In addition to the pruning, they provided root excavation services to support the long-term health of the tree, which we really appreciated. Their crew went above and beyond by protecting our garden and our adjacent neighbors on both sides during the process-laying down plywood and coverings to ensure that surrounding plants were not damaged while large limbs were removed. Throughout the entire project, the team was highly professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Communication with Chris and his team was clear, and it was obvious they take pride in both their craftsmanship and customer care. We would absolutely recommend CC Tree Design to anyone looking for knowledgeable and conscientious tree care.
CC Tree Design was able to come out and trim a split limb that was hanging over our driveway. They were able to come out quickly, worked efficiently and cleaned everything up afterwards. Thank you so much!! We highly recommend them!
These guys are great - I've used them twice and will again. Christopher, the owner/manager is a highly qualified Certified Arborist who has worked with Friends of the Urban Forest and also provides reviews for SF City about potential tree removals. I have many treasured trees, including 10 redwoods, Japanese Maples, Ironwood, Podocarpus, and many native others. I trust this company to do a great job and at a reasonable cost (especially for me as a 75+ single senior woman)!
Christopher and his team were great to work with. I've met with many arborists over the years, and Christopher was by far the most personable and clearly knowledgeable about our needs for our Italian stone pine tree in SF. The work went beautifully and was well coordinated among his team, who were all friendly and professional. This is the shape our pine tree (and yard) was waiting for! CC Tree Design came highly recommended by trusted neighbors and friends in the neighborhood and now I see why. We couldn't be happier with their work!
