We had a four story tall tree that started to fall over toward the street taking out a patio as it leaned. EastsideTree Works agreed that it should be removed and they were willing to work with the city of Seattle to obtain a permit to do the removal.
Kent arrived with a crew of four. Julio went up in the bucket crane to start the removal and he was in it for about three hours, aided by ground crew who changed out tools with him as needed and who fed the branches into the chipper, raking up debris as they worked. The work was done in a timely manner for such a large tree and Kent made sure that no branches fell on the public places or against the apartment itself. The crew cleaned up the area before leaving and we were extremely satisfied with the efforts and professionalism.
Great company to work with on a large project like we had.

We are new homeowners and had Jeff from Eastside Tree Works come out and take a look at our giant douglas fir, which was in dire need of some TLC. He gave us a good sense of what needed to happen for the health of the tree and our own safety, and the Eastside Tree Works bid came in about the middle of the three we received. We liked the conservative approach Jeff took and Eastside Tree Works was able to schedule us in when it worked for our neighbors, who were also impacted with this work.
The team, led by foreman Chad and including Tyler, Julio and Jacob, was professional and treated our property and those of our multiple neighbors with the utmost respect. They had great communication not only with us but with those impacted neighbors, to ensure everyone was safe and out of the way, and then that cleanup could take place efficiently. Chad detected a need to better support a dog leg that we feared may be cracking, but that we wanted to preserve if possible, so we opted for the cable solution and the team was able to add that to the project same-day. Punctual, hard-working, efficient, great communication, and nice guys all-around. We could not have asked for a better crew or a better experience! See before and after photos.
And Amanda back at the office did a fantastic job with me throughout the process, as we coordinated the site visit, estimate/invoicing, and scheduling of the work itself.
Our tree looks really great and we're so relieved to know that we're kicking off our lives in this new house with a tree we can consider safe, building trust with our neighbors through this work. Thanks to everyone at Eastside Tree Works!

Chad, Matt and Jarrod did an outstanding job of cleaning up our trees. They were punctual, professional and competent and a pleasure to deal with. I was also impressed with Charles, who came to give the initial consult and with Amanda in the office. Stellar service.

We recently had our trees serviced by this wonderful team, and once again, they exceeded expectations. They raised canopies and removed deadwood on our cedars, pruned several trees that were in serious need of care, and topped off our arborvitae. Everything was done efficiently and with great attention to detail.
What I appreciated most—beyond the excellent work—was how quick, pleasant, and professional the entire crew was. I put my name on their flexible schedule list, and they were out just three days after I signed the quote. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up all the mess afterward, leaving everything tidy.
The arborvitae and a couple of the trees were very close to a neighboring property, and the team went the extra mile by speaking with our neighbors beforehand. They asked if there was anything they should be aware of on their side and assured them they’d clean up any debris that might land there—which they did thoroughly.
Matt came out to provide the quote, and Brian, Scott, Tyler and Tyler :) handled the job with care and professionalism. I also want to give a big thank you to Britta, Curtis, and Amanda, who managed the scheduling and follow-ups—they were responsive, friendly, and made the whole process seamless. We actually used their services back in 2017 and were very happy then too—it's been great to see that they’ve continued to provide such excellent customer service over the years. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Eastside Tree Works. I appreciated their professionalism and the quality of work from everyone that I interacted with (office staff, scheduling, arborist, and the crew that did the work).
The arborist that we worked with (Jeff Warrick) clearly cared about maintaining the health of our trees. We've used other companies in the past that seemed more interested in aggressively cutting or removing trees as a means of making $ and this was not the case with Eastside Tree Works.
The crew did a great job of cleaning up a huge old Madrona, cleaning up a huge Douglas Fir, and removing a dangerous broken branch from a tall Hemlock. They were thorough and cleaned everything up before they left. Again, the crew also seemed to care about the health of the trees rather than just cutting them up.
I would recommend Eastside Tree Works to anyone.
