Julian Tree Care safely removed a huge Jacaranda tree that had gotten too big for my small yard. They ground out the stump so well I was able to replace it with a large Agave cactus, succulents and other drought-resistant Native plants. The crew was awesome to watch in action! They are highly-skilled, well-equipped, on time, neat and very nice to work with! We are very happy with their service!
Very quick response and fair estimate to chop multiple trees in my backyard. They also came back and fixed very minor damage on the fence after a branch fell near it. It was barely noticeable but they did the right thing and sent someone to fix it the next day. I highly recommend!

Avoid this company if you value ethics or local laws. They recently facilitated the destruction of 100-foot protected Redwoods at 2210 Park Ave using a "Standard Landscaping" permit that conspicuously omitted the trees' protected status. As industry professionals, they should have recognized this massive red flag; instead, they chose negligence over ecological responsibility, costing our community vital cooling and habitat. The crew was unprofessional and dismissive when neighbors raised valid permit concerns. If you are a developer looking to bypass city codes with a company of suspect ethics, they are your team. For everyone else: stay away. We have filed formal complaints with the City Manager and City Council to ensure this company is held accountable for their role in this devastation.
