Statement has the professionalism of a large company with the personal feel of a family owned business. We lost several giant oak trees to chestnut borer and shopped multiple companies before selecting Statement based on their clear pricing and quoting tools, with pictures, responsiveness to our questions and concerns and willingness to work with the City of Hopkins for hauling away. I was told by another company that this would be a three day job given the size and location of the trees (we removed 12 in all and one was very near the house). Statement completed in half that time, working efficiently and safely. They coordinated with the City, which hauled material from the front yard, and were very tidy and careful moving around our house, shed, cars and remaining trees. Will absolutely hire them again when we need trimming or removals. Added some before and afters.

The team that showed up to do the work was very good. Each of them had their assigned job and they worked well together. They were very friendly as well. They had the right equipment and skillfully dropped the large trees right where they wanted them. Two of the trees on our property were located right beside buildings but that didn’t even slow them down. Afterwards they cleaned up and removed the limbs and brush. My problem is that they left tire ruts in the yard that should have at least been filled in and a few days later after the stump grinding (a separate sub contractor I believe), there were mounds of dirt and large holes left in the yard. For the tree removal, they had a truck here with a stack of plywood to lay down to protect the lawn but decided not to use them I guess. I called and talked to Brittany who told me that I should have expected lawn damage from tree removal. She said that “stump cleanup” was a separate line item in the quote and that I had not checked that item. When I looked back, she was right. It was an “option”. (My bad). Otherwise, the crew did a great job and I can easily recommend them as long as you (1) specifically ask them to lay down wood sheets to drive on to protect your lawn, and (2) make sure you check the option box for “Stump cleanup” on the quotation form if you don’t want a mess left behind. Their pricing was the best we found in the area.

Corbin and his crew were great. They were very friendly and professional. They removed our fallen tree very quickly with minimal disruption or damage to our lawn. They removed all debris from our yard and to the street where they ground up a lot. I am totally pleased with their service and will be recommending them to all my neighbors.

We used statement tree care for a project last summer. They took down a large walnut tree, along with some other trimming around our property. They were very professional, efficient, and great at communicating. Pricing was very reasonable too! I highly recommend them!
