Urban timber removed a huge maple tree that was dying on the sidewalk strip in front of my house. The skilled crew took down the tree carefully.(Being mindful of my property, as well as the neighbor’s). Everybody worked hard and got it done in two days. They accomplished everything that I asked for, as well as keeping things tidy (even blowing off dust and chips during the process). A very friendly crew that I would recommend without reservation. As happy as I can be, considering the city should help pay for part of tree removals when needed.

Have big, mature oak and sweet gum. Been a few years since they were last pruned. A number of dead branches and lots of fall in wind storms, but we love these trees. Urban Timber sent out a knowledgeable estimator who gave us a reasonable quote. Crew of 4 came out a few weeks later and did a great job. Opened up the canopy. Got out a lot of dead and small branches. Cabled in a vulnerable big branch on the sweet gum. Took most of a day. Respectful of ground cover and did a good job on cleanup. Will definitely call them again next time we need tree work.
Urban Timber is the best! They’ve done multiple jobs for me (pruning, thinning, removal, and stump grinding) and I recommend them to everyone. Super responsive, fair prices, and a great crew! They always do good work and leave the yard better than they found it.
The guys that came to the house were very polite and organized. They did a fantastic job!!!! So much better than what I was imagining. I’ve seen lots of people prune their big trees and it is very obvious; looking chopped. Urban Timber pruning blends so well. People would not know except for the width and height. We had approximately 18’ taken off the height of our Cypress trees. Would give Urban Timber over a 5 rating
